About
Aims
The Copenhagen Stress Research Center is a research collaboration between researchers from the National Research Centre for the Working Environment, Department of Occupational Medicine and Department of Public Health. The overall aim of the center is to implement and support an interinstitutional cooperation of high international class in the Danish stress research environment.
The Copenhagen Stress Research Center aims at covering following topics:
- Definition of the stress concept
- Bodily reactions to stress
- Relationship between stress and health
- Underlying mechanisms leading from stress to disease
- Societal consequences of stress
- Evidence-based methods of intervention and treatment of stress
The research collaboration also aims to promote recruitment and training of researchers within the stress research field.
Copenhagen Stress Research Center is a formal research collaboration between the National Research Centre for the Working Environment, Section of Work and Environment Medicine at Bispebjerg Hospital, as well as Section of Epidemiology and Section of Social Medicine, Department of Public Health at University of Copenhagen.
